here's my shell settings. Not sure where you entered the xdg-open part.

It isn't trying to execute a folder because all I'm doing is clicking Build and Run.

Sorry, no it's not a folder. At first it was a file that I forgot to put the .c extension on but the I got the same error with the same program with a .c extension, and 5 or more other .c programs all the same error.

I'll try changing the /bin/sh to /bin/bash

« Last post by nafumocu on June 09, 2021, 05:16:26 am »
While typed enum classes are now working brace initialization still is not recognized by code completion. is this in works? Do I have to configure somehow the code-completion for this to work?

Help / Re: Project not working when copying it to different pc

Storing the exe in git is generally not a good idea. Git is not good at handling binary files.
If you want to share the exe and object files, make sure to have different folders for different OSes.

Hey thanks for the replies.

@oBFusCATed: ty that seemed to be the problem. I had to tamper with the .gitattributes file to be able to transfer the exe via git.

Now I feel dumb for not looking for something like that myself

Those posts were very old; but, build Code::Blocks (CB) from Source and you can try those patch files and likely find out they no longer apply.

Where do you read these? As far as I know neither scintilla, nor C::B support semantic highlighting.
There is one fake thing, which changes the highlighting of class members, but it is in the core and it is probably enabled by default...

Using Code::Blocks / How to get semantic highlighting plugin in Code::blocks?
« Last post by rajin100000 on June 08, 2021, 01:49:36 pm »
I read a lot of posts about semantic highlighting in Code::blocks. I saw some people made plugins of semantic highlighting. But my question is, "how to get/download/install those plugins?"
