First MacOS Project - additional wxMac Library necessary?

Hey everyone,

I'm new to Codeblocks and I've built my first application (hello world), just to find out, that it doesn't start up on my system.
When I compile the sources no error comes up and a binray is created in the debug folder. But starting it it leaves the IDE in a working but not showing anything state (the run and build buttons are grey and the abort button is activated).

Do I have to install the wxMac library beside Codeblocks? I thought because it brought no error while compiling the application I needn't to compile and install it additionally.
