Default splitter size for symbols browser.
« on: May 20, 2008, 05:12:06 pm »
Is there a way to set it in the config,  the default on Windows XP is Really narrow for the top slitter panel and the remainder of the screen for the bottom.  I resize but it doesn't save the settings.  Even after saving the layout it doesn't retain the changes.  Is this a source code thing or can it be changed through a config (I checked the default.config and couldn't find anything on it.

At least in C::B svn 8082, those splitters (Symbols and Resources) are remembered from their last configration in my system (not Windows XP, but Vista). If you don't see them remembered try to go to View -> Layouts -> Save current, after configuring those splitters as you desire, and use that layout for your next sessions in C::B, if you have defined some of them.

The only point pending (at least for me) in the Management window is the "status" for opened categories and folders in the workspace browser (Projects tab). It would be great having also that feature implemented :)

Regards.

I've done the save layout and it doesn't save it.

Then, I don't understand why is this happening to you. In fact, I've just opened C::B (loading by default the last project I was working on) to check it again, and the splitter in the Symbol tab (as well as in the Resources tab) was in the place I leaved it the last time I moved it, as you can see in this screenshot.

Maybe there is another setup option I'm missing at this moment.
