Compiling as Unicode in Slackware
« on: December 16, 2007, 02:15:03 am »
How would I go about compiling codeblocks in unicode? I'm using Slackware 12, although generic linux instructions will do the trick.

Look at Wiki
http://wiki.codeblocks.org/index.php?title=Installing_Code::Blocks

Installing Code::Blocks from source on Linux (applies to all distros)
Installing Code::Blocks before SVN 3893 from source on Linux (applies to all distros)

Note: I just updated "Installing Code::Blocks from source on Linux" yesterday; And, I have not verified that they are right. I copied the old instructions to "Installing Code::Blocks before SVN 3893 from source on Linux"

Trying to install on Foresight Linux myself and having autoconfig/m4 issues.

PS: This forum is for doing development of Code::Blocks not using Code::Blocks

I've done EVERYTHING in both wiki's but the build ALWAYS turns out ANSI instead of Unicode! I've tried a good 4 times, recompiling both wxGTK and Code::Blocks each time! :x
