U4GM Guide to COD MW4 DMZ Extraction Choices

In Hajin, getting caught without medical supplies can wreck a run before extraction even becomes an option. Players checking out MW4 Bot Lobbies should pay attention to the wound system, too. A tourniquet gets a downed operator moving, but it doesn't fix the injury. Dressings offer temporary relief; a medkit treats the wound fully and makes the tourniquet usable again. Keep plates handy and use cover when replacing them. A stronger carrier helps, but it won't save you if you're trying to heal in the middle of a doorway.

Pick your exit before the shooting starts

Extraction isn't something to sort out after your backpack fills up. Green smoke marks helicopter pickup sites, where you'll need to hold your ground until transport arrives. The Fulton balloon offers a different route, lifting operators toward an aircraft overhead. Then there's the flare. It's an option, sure, but the noise and visibility give other squads a clear reason to head your way. Choose an exit that suits your position and condition, not just the closest marker. If everyone's hurt and ammunition is low, a contested pickup can turn ugly fast.

Make the supply stops count

Watch the radiation timer while you're moving, rather than waiting for the storm to force a decision. Pick a second extraction point early and work useful stops into the route. Fire stations hold radiation equipment and parachutes. Police stations offer military supplies and locked armories, while clinics are worth checking for dressings and medkits. Ammo and armor caches can restore a squad's supplies, though their sixty-second cooldown means you can't keep using them without a wait. That matters when teammates arrive separately. Get everyone ready, resupply together, and leave yourself time to reach the pickup.

A vehicle needs more than a driver

Finding transport feels great until the fuel runs low halfway across Hajin. Sedans, vans, LTVs, cargo trucks, armored SUVs, and RHIBs give squads different ways to travel, but fuel and vehicle condition still need watching. Gas stations let you refuel and repair; carrying a gas can gives you another option away from a station. Trains and trams can help with longer crossings, too. Don't assume your ride will last the whole deployment. Check its condition before committing to a distant exit, especially if the storm is already pushing you out.

Leave with something worth keeping

A failed extraction leaves your operator Missing in Action and costs most of their equipment. Items in designated secure backpack slots return, and deployment experience still counts, but DMZ Cash requires a successful exit. That cash funds operator rescue, restoring traits and dog tag rank without replacing lost gear. Players considering cheap CoD MW4 DMZ Items still need to plan around those losses. The survival trait that calls extraction during last stand and stops bleed-out can offer a lifeline. Even so, leaving early with useful supplies beats risking everything for another room.
