Hello there,

I have used Code::blocks for 10 years and whenever I get a new PC I just copy paste the installation folder from my program files and it works out the box. My old laptop broke, but I copied over the file and it didn't work which means I cannot continue my video game project.

I tried deleting it all and installing the 20.03 version with mingw and it still doesn't work

I am getting this:

The compiler's setup is invalid, so Code::Blocks cannot find/run the compiler.
Probably the toolchain path within the compiler options is not setup correctly?!
Do you have a compiler installed?
Goto "Settings->Compiler...->Global compiler settings->unknown->Toolchain executables" and fix the compiler's setup.

When I autodetect it works to find the compiler, but spits this error out still. I tried the latest version with my own manual install of a compiler, then wiped the pc and tried again with the 20.03 mingw both give the same error.

I have no idea how I can solve this?
