Black lines print when printing editor content
« on: July 02, 2017, 03:03:26 am »
Hi all;
Using CodeBlocks 16.01
Debian Linux Stable
KDE desktop
Cups print driver
HP Officejet Pro 8600

When I try to print the editor content, the printout is overlayed by dark black lines that look like what I would see if I were printing out a spread sheet. Unfortunately, the horizontal and vertical line combination obliterates the text. How can I fix this?

Yes, this is a known problem on linux and it seems it is related to wxgtk 3.x. On wxgtk2.8 printing is either broken or at least I don't have the setup to test it.

For the record I'm testing only printing to pdf...
Printing to pdf works fine in the stc sample from wxwidgets master...

I'll do some digging. If you don't here anything from me please remind me in some time.
