I have Win 7 with latest Avast. Avast will quarantine the download of cb 16.01 every time I try. What is the proper path to get this resolved; report it to Avast?

<edit @ 02/21/2016 - 01:01 UTC> I have left a msg on Avast forum saying that NO ONE can download code::blocks if they are using AVAST and that the only cure is to UNINSTALL Avast. Let's see what that does!!! I hate slow AV software that is also a resource hog! Stinkin programmers! Where do the hire these guys???? Absolutely no excuse for this.... NONE!

Yes, there was also a ticket wrt to that. We've reported to AVAST already. For the moment, please download the version w/o installer (the ZIP package) of your choice.

...btw: AVAST has a possibility to upload false positive suspects here:

https://www.avast.com/false-positive-file-form.php

However, file size is limited to 10MB and the installer with MinGW for example is >80MB. So please, if unsure use a service like https://www.virustotal.com/ and you'll see all is fine.
(You'll also see what AV solutions produce false-alarms.)
