Can't get C::B icon moved to Ubuntu Desktop
« on: July 11, 2015, 09:38:14 pm »
Greetings! I just loaded C::B 13.12 into Ubuntu 14.04. The program loaded and functions fine. The icon to boot it is currently on the Launch Bar. However, I would like to place it on the Desktop. Don't know why, but It does not drag there. I also can not locate where the C::B execute file is to place it on the desktop. From what I've read, I'm looking for codeblocks.exe, but that does not show up in a search. Is there another name?  Anyone want to provide a suggestion to this new C::B user? Thanks!

Ask in a forum supporting Ubuntu and their Unity wm.
This has nothing to do with codeblocks, because it doesn't control what is placed on the desktop.

Also codeblocks.exe is the name of the executable on Windows, on Linux the executable is named just codeblocks.
