Help using code::blocks

Hello, i am a student who learns c in university

in our classes we suppose to use codeblocks to write programs..
i downloaded codeblocks to my computer(WINDOWS XP) and it wont build or run any of the programs i write.
I guess i dont have a compiler or somthing, but i dont know how to solve this problem

thanks, i downloaded the compiler and now when i try to  build a program i wrote ,it keeps saying me the the file hasnt been built yet and keeps asking my to build it and it wont run it...
what should i do?

Re-read the page and setup C::B to use the compiler...
