Yes I am a NOOB
I just made a new C++ file in Code::Blocks 10.05 and it isn't working!
I am running a Mac on Snow leopard. I am trying to run the Hello world program that is already prewritten. But when I try to run and compile it, it keeps coming up with this error "Starting out - Debug" uses an invalid compiler [YOUR ANSWER IS ALREADY THERE. SEARCH THE FORUMS!]. Probably the toolchain path within the compiler options is not setup correctly?! Skipping..." (in blue) then the next line goes "Nothing to be done" (in black) Any guesses on whats wrong I downloaded it straight from the Code::Blocks website and I was watching a tutorial. The only thing that was different is that I am running a mac and he is running a windows. Could someone please help me. Because I am behind in my C++ programming class and I am trying to work with this tutorial

I have know Idea why the "answer is already there search the forum" is showing up I am trying to get this to work for my C++ programming class but it doesn't want to work! and I am using that tutorial to start out learning C++ programming

You need to install a compiler and set up the toolchain correctly in "Setup -> Compiler and debugger -> [your compiler] -> Toolchain executables" .
I can not give any help for Mac (no experience and n way to install a legal MacOsX due to apple's restrictions).

Maybe you find help if you search the for "Mac", "compiler", "snow leopard" or any combination of these or other meningful words.

I am now running Lion.  I am kinda pissed since now I can't run microsoft word but no biggie.  I am downloading xcode4 now.
