Code::Blocks changes the colours of my screen O.o
« on: November 30, 2011, 09:46:59 am »
As soon as I activate Code::Blocks my screen becomes dark for a second and then it works with a lot less colours.
When I turn off Code::Blocks , the screen becomes dark again and then all the colours are back to normal.
You can see what happens to my screen when Code::Blocks is on  and the normal screen , when Code::Blocks is off.

I hope it's the whole problem and not only a sympthom of a basic problem.

Right-click on your shortcut to Code::Blocks, click Properties, and go to the Compatibility tab.
What are your current settings on this tab?

Thank you very much for your support. It fixed the problem.
I only had to uncheck a little option that was "work with 256 colours".
Then I checked the option "cancel view sets issues"  ( I hope I said it right )
