error message

I am completely new to C++ programming, I am using the book "C++ for Dummies" and when I loaded the compiler onto my laptop to begin the studing the program the compiler worked o.k.  I erased the project from the directory and tried to redo it and now the compiler is giving me the message that it can not create a project directory.

I have tried removing the compiler from the hard drive and reloading it, but that does not work, I have used 8.02 and 10.02 but, I get the same results each time. Can anyone give me an idea what I might have done wrong?

Thanks

I am a new to c++ and have the same book. I get that problem to. Try saving the project in a diferent folder. If you deleted the old folder, it may not exist.
