Problems w/ debugging windows under Ubuntu
« on: October 21, 2009, 02:04:59 am »
I am a new user of the Code Blocks IDE, and have encountered a problem with moving the debugger windows while running Code Blocks 8.02 under Ubuntu 9.04. After opening a debugging window it appears in the upper left corner of the screen beneath the task bar. It is impossible to move the debugging windows / dock them anywhere else. To make matters worse they appear to have the "always on top" property set, so the IDE window is always underneath the debugging windows.

Is this a know Code Blocks issue? or is this something that can be fixed via Ubuntu?

Try a nightly.
CB 8.02 is pretty old...
Also search the forum, this is a known issue, I think...
(most of the time I ignore long posts)

I'm a new user too.

I'm using the svn build 6297 on 31 May 2010 but this issue seems not to be solved.
I searched in the forum but I haven't found a solution..

Could someone give me a suggestion? This is a little bit frustrating!

Thanks,
Daniele.
