Search the forum for "invalid compiler [YOUR ANSWER IS ALREADY THERE. SEARCH THE FORUMS!]" and you will get the answer.

Always use search (forum and web) before asking unnecessary question and wasting our time.

We (the moderators) have to read every single post (due to legal reasons) and it's annoying to get questions that have been answered many time before.

Excuse me for asking such an elementary question.  I did not realize this is an “advanced” forum and not a help forum.  If this is the kind of help a person asks when they’re new, what is the point of the help forum?
Maybe instead of answering in such an arrogant, reprimanding manner, you could have directed me to the appropriate “beginners” forum or not answered at all.  You apparently are that way to all members of this forum.
Everyone answers to somebody.  I am sure that I can complain to the owner of this website that the “moderator” of this forum is out of line and not helpful at all and is, in fact, rude.
A person should feel comfortable asking ANY question in relation to the subject matter of the forum.

No. The reason is simple:
We have forums rules. If you want to be part of the forum and use it, the rules apply. Period.

If you click the "Search" link in the header of each forum, type "invalid compiler [YOUR ANSWER IS ALREADY THERE. SEARCH THE FORUMS!]" and hit "Search" you get six pages with answers, partly answers that help directly, partly answers like mine.

If you are to lazy to do so, and if you ignore what I wrote about that, you are wrong here (that's my opinion).

All moderators, devs and administrators do the work in their sparetime.
We all have a real live, have families, have to earn money ...

But as I wrote, due to legal issues we have to read each and every post.
And it's annoying to answer the same question over and over again, even not answering but just reading needs time.

The purpose of the forums search is to avoid such unnecessary noise.
