Debug wont work im new to this plz help

i dont know what to do...im learning C++ atm...and this is my first compiler i was gonna go borland but cprogramming.com told me to go with this compiler first and with borland there is a lot of text doc editing.so im trying to start slow...i fully understand the programming part so far its just the debubgger and compiler im not to sure what it means by Wrong compiler Nothing to do...so any help you can give me would be much appritiated! ty very much... :)

the problem im having is with the debug...when i got to main.cpp and open it. the hello world im alive program opens up...but when i press F9 to debugg it it says "test1 - Debug" uses an invalid compiler [YOUR ANSWER IS ALREADY THERE. SEARCH THE FORUMS!]. Skipping...
Nothing to be done.

what do i do? im using Windows XP and Code:Blocks 8.02

Search the forum for "uses an invalid compiler [YOUR ANSWER IS ALREADY THERE. SEARCH THE FORUMS!]".

The first post found is yours, the second will guide you to the solution for your problem.

The next time your topic might get locked or silently removed, due to ignorance.

Please, please, search before you post, search in the forum and the web, try to find a solution yourself, if there is really no answer anywhere you can still ask.

Maybe you should read  the following site: http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html, but be aware that it is not related to C::B in any way and can not give you any help if you have questions related to C::B, but it can guide you (and so many others) to a better way to ask without the risk to be ignored, removed or locked.

Why did OP use a poll for ask question?

If some piece of memory should be reused, turn them to variables (or const variables).
If some piece of operations should be reused, turn them to functions.
If they happened together, then turn them to classes.
