Using Firefly Burners in Arc Raiders With U4GM
« on: Today at 04:36:20 am »
Firefly Burners ignite on impact and leave a short fire trail before a delayed blast, making them useful for clearing doorways in Arc Raiders. While project materials still need to be gathered in raids, ARC Raiders Items offer a separate option to consider when planning a loadout.

Save a Burner for the rooftop approach

Keep one Firefly Burner for the Santa Maria Houses approach during the final Souls Offering stage. Its fire trail can help clear a doorway while preserving firearm ammunition for other encounters.

Do not spend both Burners during early Dam loops if a rooftop attempt is next. The delayed blast means the initial impact is not the whole effect, so allow for that second burst when planning a push.

Flame Spray handles much of the routine interior fighting that would otherwise consume a Burner. In the supplied update 2.3.0 details, its damage is 13 per second, up from 10, and its durability drain is half the previous rate.

Build the remaining project runs around interiors

Pair Flame Spray with Heavy Shield when carrying project materials through contested buildings. Heavy Shield has 90 base charge rather than 80 in the supplied patch details, giving the rooftop approach a little more protection.

Open the Projects tab before entering a raid and check the material counts for the active Souls Offering stage.
Choose Buried City, Dam, or Spaceport according to the materials still needed. Early stages include Dead Flowers, Rock Salt, ARC Alloy, and respirator parts.
Use Flame Spray for interior encounters and reserve a Firefly Burner for a doorway where its impact fire and delayed blast can help.
After stage three, keep at least one Firework Box for the final rooftop objective rather than spending every box in random fights.
Before the final attempt, make stash space and keep an Adrenaline Shot available. The shot can be used at full stamina and refreshes its duration.

Check the Projects tab again after extracting to see which material counts still need work. The supplied details do not describe a specific completion animation or claim-button change, so the listed counts are the practical check.

Keep rewards and purchases separate

The Noxious set is a store cosmetic, not a Souls Offering stage reward. Owning or wearing it does not establish a hidden project bonus, so do not delay material runs to pursue the look.

The Pilgrim Backpack and project attachments are progression rewards. If stash space is tight, clear low-value duplicate designs before claiming the Offering Display Table or Pilgrim Backpack; the Expedition Vault is disabled in the supplied patch details, and its contents were moved to the normal stash.

For leftover common materials, combine a project run with a deeper Frigate route rather than relying only on Emperor entrance containers. Blueprint drops remain a wider-map random pool, while the project attachments offer a fixed reward path.

Before the next raid, check the local Souls Offering cutoff in the Projects tab and reserve a Firework Box for the rooftop stage. If considering a separate store purchase, review the project rewards first; buy ARC Coins is an option separate from completing those stages.
