SVN update fails (resolved)
« on: December 21, 2012, 03:22:53 pm »
When doing a SVN update, I'm getting the messages

Code
Error PROPFIND of '/svnroot/repos/codeblocks/trunk/src/cb_only_test_for_wx29.cbp':
Error SSL negotiation failed: SSL error: parse tlsext (https://svn.berlios.de)

Is this important right now (I'm still using wx2.8.10) and if it is important, what should I do about it. No info on google.

Edit: problem disappeared when I updated to TortoiseSVN 1.7

For those of us updating from TortoiseSVN prior to 1.6, install the .msi twice, once to install and once to repair. Be sure to reboot each time.

Then the working repository becomes invalid, so do a "TortoiseSVN upgrade working copy" from the 64bit context menu items. Then do the update. It appears the whole darn repository will be re-downloaded ( at a much slower speed than 1.5 did it).

I was able to double the update speed by removing all but the first "trunk\.svn\" folder, then doing the update.
