Crash when open or save

As soon as i open or save a file, CB crashes without any error message. If i go to a folder where i have programs saved and open a .c file, the program opens the file fine. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and the same issue persisted. Help is very much appreciated. If i need to post more information please tell me how to access it as im new to c and using compilers. Thank you

Try starting Code::Blocks command line with the flag
--safe-mode

Check the folder Code::Blocks is installed in for a file named codeblocks.RPT; this is the crash report.

Also, read the FAQ to see if anything there describes your problem.

Useful information to know would be your operating system, version of Code::Blocks, and Compiler name/version number.

The log looks pretty strange.
I bet your install is not OK. Probably you have files from an old install or a nightly.
Can you try to uninstall (check if all the files are removed), then reinstall C::B?

when i clicked to uninstall all files in directory this popped up.

You need to be Administrator or the equivalent on windows vista/7 to uninstall software!

Also make sure the folder (C:\Program Files (86)\CodeBlocks) is not open (in explorer, command prompt, or any other program) and (of course) that Code::Blocks is not running.

Before reinstalling (assuming you successfully got rid of C:\Program Files (86)\CodeBlocks), you should delete the Code::Blocks profile (%appdata%\CodeBlocks) for good measure.

Ok, i did exactly what was suggested. I uninstalled successfully, Deleted appdata, and double checked to make sure everything was gone. Upon reinstall the exact same thing is happening. I'm at a loss.

What does this DLL belong to? I have my doubts that this is part of Windows. If it belongs to your AV scanner or "security software" whatever kind, try to disable this.

Some of these tools embed themsleves so deeply in the system to hijack several API calls that if they are buggy (which is often the case) they cause other software to fail.

EDIT: BTW: If I google for "DUI70.dll" I get tons of hits related to crashes.

Thanks morten for the reply. A simple comp restart actually fixed the problem. Obviously should have tried that first. I'll make sure that AV scanners don't conflict in the future. Thanks everyone for your time. I'm a little surprised the problem didn't present itself sooner as i have been using C::B's for a while.
