Deleting a project folder
« on: August 18, 2008, 01:07:17 pm »
Once in a while when creating a new project, I get something wrong, like creating it in the wrong folder.
No big deal, I simply delete the folder and create another new project in the right folder.

Not every time, but quite frequently Windows won´t let me delete that project folder, because "folder is in use by another process".
Closing C::B or even closing anything I have open doesn´t help, I can delete the entire content of the folder, but not the folder itself.
Only after system reboot everything is back to normal and I can delete the folder.

I´ve had this problem in any version of C::B, from the old 1.02 up to the latest nightly and I have it only after creating a new project and then trying to delete that project again, so I believe it is some kind of bug in C::B.
As I said, no big deal, just thought you guys want to know and I´d apreciate if anyone could tell me how to solve the problem without system reboot.

Hi !

Did you check in the task manager if a codeblocks process was still running after you quit the application ?
It could explain your problem...
