code blocks -- cygwin -- build

Hi ,

Has anyone tried to build code-blocks in windows cygwin (X11/GTK) or is it strict NO? will be grateful for any suggestion.

I tried several years ago; it was a lot of work and I did not like it much using X windows under Cygwin was a lot of effort to try to learn.
If you already know how to use X windows under Cygwin you might find it easier.
I only got it to build; I never did any real run-time testing because I never figured out X windows enough to do it.
One other person got farther and ran CB under Cygwin X windows.
