Build and Run not responding

       Hello, im new to Code::Blocks and im using it for my CSCI 221 class. My problem is that after writing a program, I click build and run and nothing happens, and if I click run the Information window pops up saying “It seems that the file has not been build yet. Do you want to build it now?” and if I click yes it still does not do anything. If anyone could help me I would be very thankful,

Place your mousecursor in it and scroll to force a repaint.
This might show "hidden" content.
