How to start the IDE?

Hello

A few weeks ago I installed Code::Block. I could started it from the desktop.
But today I click at the desktop-icon to start it again.  Without success .. why?

Which file on the harddisk should I click to start the IDE? see below.

It looks like codeblocks.exe and codeblocks.dll have been deleted.

This happened to me when when I installed in the "Program Files" folder.
My virus software did not like programs that saved files in the "Program Files" folder.
It deleted all user executable files out of the protected folder.
 
Try installing in a folder of your own that does not belong to the OS.

@Pecan: Your av software is deleting files installed by an installer?

"Cannot find compiler executable in the search path for the GNU GCC Compiler"

Hello

I've re-installed Code::Block .. now in E:\Programme\
It is the second partition besides C: on the local harddisk.

But I now get the message "Cannot find compiler exutable in the search path for the GNU GCC Compiler".
Why? .. what can I do to solve the problem .. Thank you.

BTW In the past (with Windows-7) I never got these problems ... (?!)
Now I use Windows-10.

I got it.

With Setting -> Compiler -> "..toolchains"
 and I put in the right folder for MinGW
Now Code::Block works well ...

Not with an installer, it was self compiled. I moved all my development out of "Program Files" and have not had the problem since.
