These are some things I noticed on SUSE 10 with revision 1670:
There is NO double arrow when you hover over the split line between the project manager pane and the editors, neither between the editors and the messages pane. This used to be also a problem in windows but today I noticed it was ok on windows (will check again).
Next :
Open up a source file in CB, a source file wihch has sufficient content so that a vertical scrollbar show up on the right in the editor (normally you can also see it with the start here page).
Now on the left drag the split(divider) line between the projects tree and the editors to the right, you will notice that the scrollbar will disappear !!! (When you drag the line back to left, it will reappear after sufficient moving towards the left).
[EDIT][added] I also noticed that on linux when debugging a console app, the console box does not show up, it does if you run it from within CB, but not during a debug session.
