how to find and install plugins
« on: December 06, 2010, 02:17:50 am »
My questions is: How do I find and install plugins?
I am specifically looking to install an alignment plugin and a plugin that enables viewing two source files simultaneously.

I have searched everywhere for these answers (wiki and forums). The wiki is not very descriptive ("Look in the official release. Notice that the installer / package manager might require you to enable some of the plugins specifically. So READ carefully.") and I have searched through every option in CodeBlocks.

I'm in the middle of an assignment for class and I'd appreciate if someone from the kindness of their heart can answer this question in a simple detailed manner.

I am using the latest Code Blocks on Win7.

1. Download 10.05 Code::Blocks
2. Install Code::Blocks 10.05
3. DURING THE INSTALLATION; answer the questions to install the plugins

Thanks for the quick response.

I reinstalled and found only a limited number of plugins available. Are those all the plugins that are officially included with code blocks.

I assume then that if I wanted additional plugins I would have to search the forums.
