how should i install cppcheck

i just download a folder from http://sourceforge.net/.But i don't know how to install it

I suggest to download the installer from http://sourceforge.net/projects/cppcheck/files/ and install it.

The *.msi-files are windows installers.

try the files with zip extension.
It did not have an exe inside it; it had the source code.

See Jens link below; 1.43 has MSI link, I could not see one under 1.44 they must release source code first or target Windows later than Linux.

It usually takes a few days after each release before the
MSI is available.it's now available .so forget it  .thanks
