High CPU usage when Code::Blocks not used
« on: May 22, 2010, 03:10:28 pm »
I am running Ubuntu 10.4 and ran apt-get to install C::B (version 8.02).  I have a fairly small project open and I leave it open for quite some time.  After a few hours, the CPU usage for C::B starts to spike.  I think it gets as high as 80%.  The CPU usage goes down if I simply switch to C::B, but still down only to about 9%.  It's a fairly modern dual core laptop.

What can I do to keep C::B from using so much CPU?  What could it be doing to use so much CPU?

Can you test a recent nightly?
