Title: "Find declaration" keyboard shortcut
Post by: drac on March 13, 2008, 01:22:50 am
Hi all,

I'm using CB 2008.02 and I'm trying to change it in order to have a keyboard shortcuts clone of Visual Studio + Visual Assist.

With the use of keyboard plugin I was able to do most of the work.

I'm missing ALT-G for going to "#include <files>" and to symbol declarations / definitions, but I couldn't find anything regarding
the contextual menu entries "Open #include file:" and "Find declaration of:" in Keyboard shortcuts dialog.

A search on the topic gave me this (http://forums.codeblocks.org/index.php/topic,5009.0.html), but the KeyMacs plugin is
not delivered with CB 2008.02.

By the way "find declaration of:" for cout doesn't find anything, but it does for endl.

Thanks,
Cristi.

You don't like using Right Click "Find Declaration of"  ?  :D

When a better code completion plugin becomes available we are going to see better results using functions like that

C::B comes very close to being usable without even reaching for the mouse.

Almost...but not quite.   :)

And once you have the ability, if you're so inclined, to do all your work with both hands on the keyboard you can work much faster.

You talk like that, and I'll have all my work done by noon.... then what? :)

You'll stop calling it "noon" and start calling it "beer o'clock".
