Title: manager panel is always hide (version 1 rc 2)
Post by: marianocuenze on December 18, 2007, 08:45:24 pm
Some weeks ago I was using as usual codeblocks. Because I needed more space for the editor, I drag the 'splitter' between the editor and the manager panel so much, I not only reduce the width of the panel, I hide it and It appears that the splitter go away with the panel.
Now, how can I get back the manager panel?

I tried:
-check/uncheck menu view/manager
-editing the reg keys (layout/main_frame/left_panel_width -I did not remember the exact path- and others)
-deleting the reg keys
-uninstaling and installing the ide
-runngin codeblocks.exe --clear-configuration

All those things with no result.

Really thank you for any hint, help or link.

View->Layouts->Delete current

thanks, but i only have this in the view menu:

  toolbar
  manager
  open file list
  message
  status bar
  --
  full screen
  --
  focus editor

there is not View->Layouts->Delete current, I look up for it in all the menus, but it is not there, there is another way to trigger that action?

note: i am not using a nigth build, just the last stable 1.0 rc 2, perhaps that is the diference in the view menu

Hi !

I wonder if anyone remember the rc2 details  :D
Nightly builds (http://forums.codeblocks.org/index.php?board=20.0) are really stable and brings really cool improvements ! You should try them !

Thank you, I updated :), it is nice to get back the manager and to enter in the "new stage" of codeblocks :D , it is really cute.
