Title: Question about Replace dialox box behavior
Post by: skirby on June 28, 2007, 02:27:10 pm
Hello,

It is probably a stupid question (one more time  :P) but when I try to replace a piece of text that not exists in my file, I do not have any warning that tell me the text does not exist (while there is a message box with find dialog box).
The Replace dialog box is closed and nothing.

Is it normal?

Thanks in advance and have a nice day.

if we say we can't find anything in a find session ,we should say the same in a replace session. So IMHO we can consider this to be a bug.

Ok, I have reported it on BerliOS.

Thanks.

here's a patch for Replace (but not replace in files)
