most of the time there is a only windows version of nightly builds
Can you out a Nightly tar ball ?

Why not just checkout the svn-version?

 :) It is actually worth it to invest in SVN !!! Especially if you want to help contribute to C::B

It sounds like you are using Linux (Cool !!!) so, that makes it actually a bit easier in my opinion!

(PS. I am using Windows and that OneClick setup from svn. Very handy... :)
