Title: mandriva 2007 svn ? gcc ? wxWidgets version ?
Post by: wxuserbrest on November 10, 2006, 02:10:04 pm
Hi all,
thanks a lot for people that have already replied to my previous messages. I just want to know if someone has succeed in compiling codeblocks on a mandriva 2007.
I m french so there are problems with language version...what options should i compile wxWidgets ? which version of automake, svn...I m not used with all LANG...so difficult to find what to do to avoid error on compiling.
Or maybe someone has done a rpm package on mandriva with the wxWidgets 2.6.3 package installed on it.
Thanks a lot

PS i will use codeblocks on this mandriva but when... :-)

Don't expect any language problems. GCC should be 3.4.4. It's best to compile
everything by yourself. If you can't, probably you're stepped in wrong area...

What are you talking about?, why use a linux distro that has packages at all if you "have to compile everything yourself?  Code::Blocks compiles just fine with all standard packages on Ubuntu 6.10 with GCC 4.1.

Can you please post the LANG error, it probably has to with the autorevision header again.  Do a forum search on autorevision.
