I took this as an occasion to update the MinGW install WiKi page (not only for bintools).
You'll find links to the most recent Windows ports of commonly used unix development utilities as well.

Where's the wiki page. I don't see any link to "install tools" or "utilities".
Any reference to MinGW on the main page takes you to www.mingw.org.
Do you mean you updated the mingw.org page?
A wiki search on "utilities" or "bintools" etc only brings up a page inviting the searcher to create it.
Is there an index to the wiki? I thought there used to be one, but now I cant find it. "What links here" and "special pages" dont show anything anymore.

Thomas,
If you are going to update the MinGw wiki, please note that the MinGW download page (in the MinGW website) is no
longer maintaned as an updated reference.
For example the binutils2.17.50, the mingw-runtime3.10, the mingw-make-3.81.1 and the win32-api-3.7 are not listed in the "candidate" section nor in any other section.
They can be downloaded following the links in the News section or from http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/mingw/

The page is called "MinGW installation". I added a few redirections so you can find it easier (mingw, binutils, utilities).
There are links to Windows ports of the most often used developer tools on that page, too.
For example, if you need a working zip to build Code::Blocks, you no longer need to worry where to find it.

Thanks, I never used that anyway.
