Title: Strange behaviour of the Watches window.
Post by: Indrekis on August 23, 2006, 07:06:28 am
I've noticed that, while debugging, after pressing "Watch 'var_name'" in the contest menu, variable is added to the watches. But if the Watches window is not opened at this moment, it remains "not opened", (although containing added variable - can see it after opening Watches manually). It looks strange... May it be a bug (or it is a feature)?

I'm using CodeBlocks build 2878 (Aug 19 2006) under Windows XP SP2.

Hi,
I have the same problem, but the same version of Code::Blocks works well
under Linux.

Please Tell me more about.

Best Regards, Zak

You are aware that you hijacked an 2 years old thread? It's very unlikely you get a good response. The version of C::B that time is more than outdated now. Please be careful when posting to very old threads.

I must note that behaviour of the watches window remains the same in CB 8.02 and later nighty builds.

Hello there.

Thanks very much for the reply.

I am sorry for hijacking. But when I have some problem with C::B I read in this forum.
This time I find this post with similar problem and just reply to it.

I am using C::B 8.02. The C::B Watch works fine under Linux but not under Windows.
Can you help me?

Why there are differences between C::B for Windows and C::B for Linux??

Best regards, Zak
