I would search the forum. Ex: "slackware".

Anyways this (http://forums.codeblocks.org/index.php?topic=1918.0) may help you. :D

Hello,

Why you do not try to build C::B from the SVN sources :)? It is not so difficult and the build instructions in the wiki quite useful. Actually, I build C::B on Win32, Ubuntu 5.10 and Gentoo 2006.0 without big troubles.

Best wishes,
Michael

Hi,
You shouldn't install it, becouse it is VERY OLD (look at its name - cvs 17  Dec 2005,
i don't update it becouse i don't have Slackware anymore. I use Gentoo).
You should use svn to get current version.

P.S For *.tgz packages you can use ,,pkgtool''
