Title: [Off-topic:] Capturing app for tutorials and such
Post by: mandrav on April 05, 2006, 02:03:29 pm
<COMPLETELY OFF TOPIC>
If you ever need to capture a series of screenshots and create a nice video tutorial with them, give Wink (http://www.debugmode.com/wink/) a try! It's freeware for windows and linux (x86) and creates Macromedia flash (.swf) videos with many options to bring the size down :D.

I had never heard of it before, until I saw it in one of the wxWidgets forums (http://wxforum.shadonet.com/).
I hope some of you find it useful :).

Hello,

Thanks for the info :). Look very interesting. It could also be useful for conferences and project meetings, in case a live demo would not be possible.

Best wishes,
Michael

PS.: The new wiki is really cool 8). Great job :D.
