We switched to gcc 15.2.0 (on 09 April 2026) --> download the new wx/mingw dll's see link below

Get the compiler we use here : https://github.com/brechtsanders/winlibs_mingw/releases/download/15.2.0posix-14.0.0-ucrt-r7/winlibs-x86_64-posix-seh-gcc-15.2.0-mingw-w64ucrt-14.0.0-r7.7z

Get quick announcements through the RSS feed http://www.codeblocks.org/nightly/CodeBlock_RSS.xml

Before you use a nightly make sure you understand how it works (http://forums.codeblocks.org/index.php/topic,3232.0.html).

I'm having a problem reproducing this. Can you give us a few steps to cause the problem?

Hi.

32 bits version for Windows (and also 64 bits version) can be downloaded from my website (https://wxstuff.xaviou.fr/article/codeblocks-nightly-builds.html).
I made both a wxWidgets-3.2.11 and wxWidgets-3.3.3 linked versions

Debian Trixie (64 bits) and Bookworm (32 and 64 bits) can be installed from my repo (https://wxstuff.xaviou.fr/article/debian-repository.html)
The corresponding unsigned deb files can also be downloaded from the website page linked above.

Ubuntu-22.04 and 24.04 versions can be installed from my ppa (https://launchpad.net/~x-psoud/+archive/ubuntu/cbnb) (they are available for both amd64 and arm64 architectures).

I am still working on making the Ubuntu-26.04 version (I've made some progress, but there are still problems).

Hi Xaviou,

Good job, last "nightly" build version 14003 can be installed with success on Linux Mint 22.3 Zena 64b.

Just to be precise, recently I have must reinstall this OS ... after "bad" operation ... and with CodeBlocks some warning(s) must be signaled

After reinstall, my OS environment is "very clean", but first warning : you must don't install CB proposed by default (very old version 20.03), because
I'm not success to upgrade to version 25.03 ...

I donwload all deb packages of CB version 25.03 from Internet in "one tarball" : codeblocks_25.03_amd64_debian12.tar.xz

After decompress in "special directory" and move it, you can install by : "sudo dpkg -i *.deb"

Last operation : declare your ppa, and update your list of packages :

"sudo add-apt-repository ppa:x-psoud/cbnb
sudo apt update"

Second warning, don't proceed by "sudo apt upgrade" because list of deb package don't change after this command ...

Wait (some seconds!), and last version of nightly build of CB appear in "Update manager" of Linux Mint 22.3, and you can click on this to install it.

Regards.

When working on builds for Fedora (https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/sharkcz/danny/build/10959184/, details are in the builder-live.log files), I have noticed that libtool version 2.6.2 present in Rawhide fails the build of the codesnippets plugin after the tinyxml LIBADD was removed from its Makefile.am in revision 13996. System tinyxml library is used in the builds. I have confirmed that with libtool downgraded to 2.5.4 the build runs OK. AFAICT other plugins still use the LIBADD mechanism. Likely some change in libtool is causing this ...

Hi.
I am still working on making the Ubuntu-26.04 version (I've made some progress, but there are still problems).
It seems I've found a solution : the last build completed successfully.   :)

Most likely my error. I'll do some comparison to see how I erred.
Or maybe you could tell me what it is that I can fix because I'm not very Linux savvy.

Maybe something related to this discussion: Faild to build C::B with github action with latest wxWidgets 3.3.3 (https://forums.codeblocks.org/index.php/topic,26338.msg179012.html#msg179012)

It is also related to the tinyxml library and the linker issue.

Working all the way back to svn 13733, the Makefile.am for codesnippets plugin has never been changed.
So it's not something in the file that has been deleted.
It must be something that needs to be added.
I'll continue the conversation on forrum at " Faild to build C::B with github action with latest wxWidgets 3.3.3
" which may be the answer.

I opened the project containing my program and two generated log.txt files in Code::Blocks. I executed my program using the MSYS2 terminal. Upon returning to Code::Blocks, I reload the log view, and clicking inside the Code::Blocks interface causes it to crash / throw an error.

I don't know if I can say it here but every time I am using CodeBlocks the wxSmiths tools Icons are nearly hidden by the Horizontal ScrollBar. Windows 11 25H2. I have to go to Settings->Editor->WxSmiths and make tool Icons small to make them visible. Please can this be solved? Thanks fro the great tool that is CodeBlocks.

When I hit enter at the end of any line containing a single line comment using //, auto-indent doesn't occur.  This isn't the case if I hit enter at the end of a line where /* and */ is used to add a single line comment.  Is this expected behavior, and more to the point can I change it?  I make single line comments all the time so having auto-indent disabled so often just means I have to manually tab several times while I'm typing code.

Would you please add this report to the tickets (bug) queue (https://sourceforge.net/p/codeblocks/tickets/).
I also experience this annoying problem.
