Title: CB 24.12 & MAC
Post by: Wkerry on November 21, 2024, 11:39:51 am
Will the CB 24.12 release support the MAC w.r.t. not crashing and debugging? See forum posts about this as it is NOT fixed in the trunk with current OSX versions that most MAC users use. GDB has been a problem on the MAC OSX for year due to Apple security changes made a long time ago.

Without a Mac Developer willing to help [solve the issues]; it is hard to develop on an Mac.

Blame Apple for making the process harder than it should be.

What process is harder than it should be?

current builds of codeblocks are available via macports and work very well on all systems from MacOSX 10.6 to current systems.

So GDB debugging works on the latest MAC OS?
Have you actually checked or assumed?

I am asking as there have been multiple reports on CB forum and on other forums that GDB has issues and it relates to a security change/changes Apple made a long time ago.
