I've just install CB 16.01 and I'd like to know which files I can now safely delete from the 13.12 install and any sub directories. It would have been nice if the 16.01 installer would have done this for me but I guess the CB Team didn't bother with that. However. I'd like to thank the CB Team for getting 16.01 online so quickly. Kudos to all of you.

How have you installed 13.12?
If you've used the installer then 16.01 should have replaced it.
Probably you've used something else to install 13.12 and it is probably safe to delete the whole folder with 13.12.
The only important user information is stored in the AppData folder in your user's directory.

There is a little chance, that the compiler is below the 13.12 installation, if 13.12 was installed with and 16.01 without compiler.

My apologies to the CB Team. The CB 16.01 installer did replace the old 13.12 file in Windows 10 from Programs and features. It also removed it from the Windows Programs files.
However it left the codeblocks 13.12 mingw-setup file behind. This may be an add on to CB with the codeblocks 13.12 name placed in front of the files name, its probable from MinGW. This is a big file 100207k. I recommend other users delete it if they have load CB 16.01. The newer version was included with the CB 16.01 install.

That's the installer and I don't know any installer that removes itself (probably except for malware installers, especially rootkits and alike).
