Title: Tips to configure CB on Ubuntu (wxNotebook/wxFlatNootbook Tab size too big)
Post by: cyberkoa on January 23, 2006, 03:44:11 am
I think some of the Linux user who use CB on Ubuntu found that the wxNotebook/wxFlatNootbook Tab size is too big .

It some time can only show 1 Tab on the "Management Window" due to the big size.

It can be beautified by changing the Font size of the Ubuntu

System > Preference > Font > Application Font Size  (key in password if prompted)

In my case , I change it to 7 (need to manually key in) and my CB looks better  :D)

Note : By changing this setting , most of the application font size will be changed. But I wonder why the Audacity which used the wxwidgets is not affected

The only way I got to dissimulate wxNotebook's tab size before was using GTK+ themes. Maybe mixing both tips ppl can get a better looking Code::Blocks under *NIX :)

Screenshots of 2 different GTK+ themes running Code::Blocks can be found in the Screenshots section of the main page (those still used wxNotebook).
