Title: Bug? (LINUX)
Post by: codex on August 21, 2015, 08:16:54 pm
Often when launching  codeblocks the debug menu shows up and only after relaunching a few times the app I can use it.
The info is in the debug.txt.

Can you please explain your problem with a lot more details?
I have no idea what you're talking about.  :-\

What exactly happens ?
Steps to reproduce ?
Version of C::B ?
Name and version of the distro(s) ?
Where did you get C::B from ?

Well,after launching C::B a menu shows up and provides me with the debug info,after closing that,the app exits.
The version is 13.12 ,I think it was the August build.
The distro is Manjaro Linux (ver-0.8.13.1) , 3.18 kernel as shown in the debug.txt.C::B crashed on  Ubuntu (14.04),Debian and  Linux Mint (17.1),but it worked very good on CentOS 7.

C::B was downloaded from the default package manager on all distros.

PS:I think I should have reported this earlier,it is been over a year now,but I kept hoping that an update will be released and that it will solve this problem.Tried C::B on other Linux machines,same issue.It is really annoying because I have to boot up my Windows PC just to work with C::B.

Is this a nightly or vanilla 13.12?

Probably you're seeing this bug: https://sourceforge.net/p/codeblocks/tickets/4/

And for the record a window/dialog is not a menu!
