Title: Why can't a wxWidgets project not created by the wxWidgets wizard compile?

Same thing with OpenGL. No OpenGL project will compile without using the OpenGL wizard to create it. I've dug through all the menus and I can't find any difference in their compiler settings, environment settings or anything else.

I can make both wxwidgets and opengl projects starting with an empty project.
If you give more info what are you trying and what is the build logs then we could probably help.
