Title: how to install codeblocks onto lubuntu or ubuntu

Dear Forum Mates,

How can I install codeblocks onto Lubuntu or Ubuntu?
I have tryed:
sudo apt-get install -f ...
and
sudo dpkg -i ...
When I tryed it I was in the directory of the .deb files. Despite of that the first sudo said cannot find the file while the second sudo said there are dependency problems.
Please help.

ps: BTW I used the the binary package after I extracted it.
