I'm a user of CB and would like to be informed about new major releases of CB
(without looking at your homepage).
Is there already a mechanism like a announcement mailinglist for such a purpose ?

for nightly builds (they might be buggy, because that's always the latest state (of the art) code ;-) you can have a RSS feed, nightly builds part of the forum.

But I'm not interested in this latest state of the art code :D !
And BTW do you provide tar-archives for the nightly build ?
I'm willing to upgrade my IDE every now and then when I see some new stable features.
The good old announcement mailing list is okay for such a purpose.

Yiannis, do we have such a mailing list?

I have just a question. In profile-->Notifications and Emails there is this option "Receive forum announcements and important notifications by email.". If a new release of C::B will be annonced in the Announcements part of the forum, then it will send to the user defined email address, right? If, yes, it could be solution to be aware of new C::B release.

Could be a solution. I really would like such an information and I think other dumb user would
like it too.
