Title: Save codeblocks settings
Post by: vladtarniceru on November 17, 2013, 09:59:29 pm
Hello!

I've made some changes to codeblocks, like creating some tools, changing the colorscheme, abbreviations, default code and many others.

But if I want to install codeblocks on another computer I won't have all these settings ... so if I keep the folder where all these settings are hidden, I should be able to copy it to the new computer after I install codeblocks there, right?

I was wondering if there exists such folder which tracks the changes (and where can I find it) or if there is another way to save the custom changes.
I'm using ubuntu 12.10.

Thanks in advance!

The tool Code::Blocks Share Config is used to share CB configuration settings.
I suggest seeing if that will do what you want.
NOTE: Please backup your settings before using it.

Alternatively, the folder is ~/.codeblocks under (most) Linux.
