I have been using Code::blocks for a while now and never had experienced any trouble...
untli I tried installing it on my new machine, which runs windows 8.
Everything works fine, except that whenever I try to open/save a file via the open/save dialog, code::blocks freezes.
As the code::blocks website doesn't explicitly state that the program should run on windows 8 (it only says win XP/Vista/7 ) my best guess is that something changed between windows 7 and 8 in the system dialog (wouldn't be the only change in user interface, either...)
Have any of you experienced anything of the sort, and if so, is there a fix to this ?
Thank you,
Jelly...

Works fine here on my Windows 8 VM and I never had any such issues on my Windows 8 driven Panel PC's at work.

Works fine now for me too, I can't spot why it was making trouble just before... My windows is a valid license, and I barely touched a thing on it yet... I don't know what the problem was, and it's a bit intriguing...
Anyways, the problem solved itself on its own, so I'm not complaining... :)
