Title: Virtual Folder question
Post by: cromefx on November 25, 2012, 03:43:30 pm
After some searching I found an answer to my question but I wonder if it is still up to date:

3.  So my project is toast.  I have over 100 cpp/.h files.  I have virtual folders.  How can I add directly to the virtual folder?

I don't think that this is possible (at the moment).

Can anybody confirm this is the actual state of CB?
I can only add one file at a time and I have too many to add manually.
Isn't there something like add files recursively to virtual folder?

EDIT: some spelling and layout

Thank you.

No, meanwhile its possible.

Just add the files to your project, then select all of them (i.e. using CTRL + Mouse) and drag them to the virtual folder. Maybe we can enhance this in the future so its possible directly from the "Add files..." menu.

Thank you for the quick reply.

Unfortunately Ctrl+Mouse (left button) doesn't work. The files don't stay selected when I pick the next one (still pressing Ctrl while selecting, like in Windows Explorer), I can only drag one at the time.

I am on W7 with CB 10.05

I think this is a new feature... try 12.11rc2 or wait for some time when we get out 12.11 final.
