He means the current nightlies are for windows, and he is asking for a nightly for Linux. Then, "why the lack of love for Linux"?

I'm just beginning to install and test CB on Linux myself, so I'll be testing the whole process. There may be a simple answer, but I didn't see one on the Wiki download page, or in the nightlies thread. Do Linux users compile Codeblocks from the source repository?

Just read the answers in the nightlies thread also or more carefully.
It depends on your linux distro, of course, whether there are nightlies available or not.
