Title: Can't program in Code::Blocks

Hi everybody.

I'm using a MacBook Pro 13" first 2012.
Now I'm studying and we use codeblocks for programming. Usually if you want to use shortcuts from the commendline you have to press "cmd". But if I install it on my MacBook since it is open I don't have to press "cmd" for any shortcut. For example if I want to type an "f" the search window opens...
I have no idea what to do. I have reinstalled codeblocks and also OS X but nothing helped...

Does anyone of you have an idea?

Which version did you used?
If it is "stable" (might be renamed by old IMHO) 10.05, did you tried nightlies?

Yes, the version was 10.05 but sorry to ask that, what is nightline?
