when i try to change the colors/fonts of my codeblocks on Mac OSX 10.5.8 it simply crash, there is any workaround?

This is/was a bug in wxWidgets font-dialog, if I remember correctly.
You should find possible solutions if you search the forum (like directly manipulatung default.conf etc.).
I'm not sure, whether a C::B version for Mac bundled with a more recent version of wx2.8 exists.

can you please point me the links on this forum that present solutions?
also, there is any guide to show how to edit default.conf?

More like "yearly" than "nightly", but anyway.
Did you try the latest nightly build?
